Brodsworth Hall is a fine example of a Victorian country house, it was
built between 1861 and 1863 by Charles Sabine Augustus Thellusson. In
1931 the estate was inherited by Charles Sabine's grandson Charles
Grant-Dalton, it was his daughter Mrs Pamela Williams who gave the house
and gardens to
English Heritage in 1990.
